MEN'S GROUP

One to one therapy can be experienced as quite intense for many men, and it can therefore be easier both to learn and to find inspiration in a group with other men.

​

Sharing concerns and personal challenges in men's groups can have a great effect, and other men's experiences can often be more helpful than input from an "expert".

​

Participating in groups can reduce the tendency men have to isolate themselves.

Many men can have a tendency towards distance/distance in relationships. A therapeutic men's group can be a safe place to practice/train on sharing feelings, and to be able to challenge each other in an empathetic and supportive way.

​

Learning a healthy and mature masculinity in a group of men can be a big step towards emotional maturity, which can make men better able to stand strong emotions in an intimate relationship.
